The New York Rangers will go into Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center looking to win a series in fewer than seven games for the first time since the first round of the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Rick Nash has four assists and a plus-2 rating so far against the Flyers, but in 17 playoff games with the New York Rangers, he has one goal.

Playing from behind is a position the Flyers have become quite familiar with this season. That's one reason there's no sense of panic as they prepared for Game 6.

Captain Claude Giroux also noted the team's confidence level remained high.

Rangers forward Dominic Moore has goals in two straight games. … Giroux had his first goal of the playoffs and a game-high six shots in Game 4. He had two assists and four shots on goal in the first four games.

Rangers forward Chris Kreider (hand) is out. … Flyers forward Steve Downie (upper body) and defenseman Nicklas Grossmann (lower body) are out.
